With 13 years in the industry overall, she holds a Bachelor's in Commerce, a Master's degree, and is a Chartered Accountant (CPA of India). Neha's interest in finance began in childhood, influenced by her father's career as a banker, and she transitioned into SAP after working as a chartered accountant, drawn to its dynamic challenges. She previously owned a beauty salon in India while pursuing her studies and now works at Deloitte on projects involving SAP AI and project management. Neha attributes her professional success to her curiosity and courage to embrace change, and she advises young women entering the field to believe in their abilities, prepare thoroughly, and approach their work with confidence.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Neha

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to curiosity and the courage to embrace change. Things are changing so fast, and if I don't change, I don't think I could have lived up to the expectation of the market. Having a mind block, for example about AI, I don't think we can survive if you have that mind block and are not embracing the change happening around you. I have always had the courage to embrace any kind of change in my life.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe in your abilities before others believe in you. Come from that mindset with super confidence, know what you're doing, don't be afraid to ask questions when you need it. You have to have the courage to put yourself out there and believe in your abilities. Prep work is the basis and the foundation of where you would start speaking. As long as you are properly prepped, believing in your abilities, not afraid, and very confident, this age is of women.
