Nekisha Cosey

Nekisha Cosey is a Senior Claims Professional at AXIS Capital, bringing over a decade of expertise in insurance claims management and investigations. She specializes in adjusting complex claims by evaluating coverage and liability, overseeing defense counsel, mediating disputes, negotiating settlements, and identifying potentially suspicious activity. Her deep knowledge encompasses accident claims, commercial general liability (CGL) losses, large loss cases, and project management, which allows her to deliver precise and efficient resolutions for clients and stakeholders.

Prior to her role at AXIS Capital, Nekisha honed her investigative skills at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she served in roles ranging from Senior Investigator in the Special Investigations Unit to Senior Claims Adjuster. In these positions, she managed casualty claims, litigated exposures, and commercial property and premises liability matters, including slip-and-fall incidents and foodborne illness claims. She also has experience as a Disability Case Manager, where she coordinated medical case management and client advocacy.

Nekisha earned her Master of Law from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she focused on insurance claims and communication, and a Bachelor of Management in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
