Her Interview
Ten minutes with Nic
01What do you attribute your success to?
My mother and my grandmother, they both passed early on, for me. And every step I take is in honor of them, so I refuse to give up, because I am their legacy.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Just keep swimming, from my godson Brandon, inspired by Finding Nemo. Even when on a cane and walker, he would tell me that.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
If you're looking to become a coach or a financial professional, a leader, first you need to define what that means to you, because in order to lead others, you have to know the true essence of yourself.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Seek excellence, not perfection. My faith is the number one guiding principle. Follow the Platinum Rule: treat others how you would want to be treated as an individual.
