About Nichelle
Nichelle Simon works in the software and operations industry, where she has spent the past five years building her career. She has developed the ability to push through roadblocks while continuously gaining knowledge to perform good work and improve at her job. Nichelle places high importance on honesty and openness in both her professional and personal life, as these qualities lead to being trustworthy and collaborative with others. She strongly advocates for maintaining a healthy work-life balance and does not commit more than the standard eight hours a day to her job, believing that rest and other activities benefit both her and her performance. Outside of work, Nichelle has volunteered with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters program for many years, mentoring a young person from childhood until he aged out, and he became the first in his family to graduate college and now teaches art in school. She also volunteers with programs that teach biking and mountain biking to adults who have never learned, providing them with free bikes and helping especially women overcome intimidation around such activities.
