Meet Nichole, a dynamic force in Grand Rapids' business and creative landscape. As the current Marketing Team leader at Mercantile Bank, she brings a wealth of experience from her impressive career journey, including her role in Global Digital Marketing Management at Steelcase, the world's leading office furniture manufacturer.

Her creative journey began at Pomegranate Studios, where she played a pivotal role in shaping iconic events like ArtPrize, 5x5 Night, and Momentum as Project Manager. This experience laid the groundwork for what would later become Start Garden, where she continued to make her mark as Coordinator, orchestrating events, promotions, and transforming physical spaces. Her creative expertise further flourished at Baas Creative, where she managed production for their multi-disciplinary film projects.

Before making Grand Rapids her home, Nichole honed her skills in multimedia and promotions with the Detroit Pistons. Her academic excellence shines through her Summa Cum Laude graduation from Western Michigan University, where she earned her B.A. in Communication. Her impact on the Grand Rapids business community was recognized early on, as she was named one of the city's Top 40 Under 40 Business Leaders at just 25 years old.

True to her type-A personality, Nichole maintains an energetic presence in both her professional and personal life. When she's not leading marketing initiatives, she's pursuing her passion for golf, spending quality time with family, and running Mid City Love - her journalistic-lifestyle blog that captures the essence of Grand Rapids living.

Her commitment to community service is evident through her current Board positions with Broadway Grand Rapids and the Imagine Campaign Committee for Habitat of Humanity of Kent County. She previously served on the Board of Directors for Grace's Table, supporting young mothers and their families.
