Nicholette Kasman, MD, MAPP, ACC
Dr. Nicholette Kasman is a pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she brings deep clinical expertise to some of the most complex and high-acuity surgical environments. Alongside her medical practice, she integrates action research and positive psychology to strengthen communication, teamwork, and psychological safety within healthcare teams, with a focus on creating more compassionate and sustainable systems of care.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Francisco and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her clinical and academic work, she is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and a certified Positive Psychology Coach, blending coaching principles with medical practice to support both individual clinicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Dr. Kasman’s work centers on bridging medicine, coaching, and systems-level change through participant-centered approaches that invite collaboration and reflection. She is actively developing a coaching practice for healthcare professionals while continuing her scholarly work in education and community-based action research. Her professional philosophy emphasizes listening, shared learning, and empowering healthcare teams to co-create environments where both patients and providers can thrive.
