About Nicole

Nicole Ashley serves as Assistant Branch Manager of a bank, a position she has held for three years. With 13 years of experience in banking, she began her career as an agency owner for an insurance company before transitioning to banking, where she advanced from teller to banker. Her areas of focus include branch operations, ensuring compliance with FDIC regulations and policies, and employee growth and development, helping team members advance their careers. Nicole holds a Bachelor's in Finance with minors in Criminology and Global Perspectives from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, and a Master's in Business Administration focused on Homeland Security from Park University in Missouri. She is a member of Delta Mu Delta, an international honor society. Nicole attributes her success to the structured environment of her military family upbringing, with her father serving in the Navy, which instilled strong organizational skills. She values communication, transparency, honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness in both her professional and personal life, and advises others to raise their hand and volunteer for opportunities to learn and demonstrate initiative. Outside of work, Nicole enjoys traveling, having visited 27 countries, and participates in philanthropic efforts such as Toys for Tots and backpack and school supplies drives with Foster Adopt Connect.

01What do you attribute your success to?

My upbringing with a structured military family environment from my dad being in the Navy has been key. I thrive on structure as an adult, which helped through school, work, and maintaining relationships.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Raise your hand and volunteer for opportunities even if outside your comfort zone or skill set, because you will learn something new and show initiative to others.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Communication and transparency are top values, along with honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness. I hold people accountable for transparency especially as a leader.
