Her Story
About Nicole
As a teenager, I lost my brother when he was hit by a car and passed away. Later on, I started to read about resilience and recognized a lot of how we dealt with his passing as a family. I was graduating as a business administration student and thought it was interesting to apply the topic of resilience to companies, because many companies were having a hard time around 2000. That's when I started to dive into how you can make companies more resilient by helping them to be more innovative and helping people deal with many changes in companies. Later on, I built my own platform based on all the knowledge I developed, focused on resilience and how to build more resilience in people in life and work. Now it goes more to adaptability and how people can deal with all the changes right now with AI and everything. People need a lot of resilience to deal with all of that and adapt to the changes. I work a lot with our developers to develop the product, which is a digital software platform people can use to develop their resilience online. My main accomplishment is that we help thousands of people.

Ten minutes with Nicole
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my own resilience. There are many obstacles to overcome during building a company. It doesn't go in a straight line, and you have to all the time try new things, fail, improve, and find your way forward. Working with a few people that share the same vision and mission is key. My dad is involved as an advisor, and I have my co-founder who is a psychologist. Having that support system of people who share the same goals has been essential.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is just go for it. Don't keep back if you want to achieve something, just go for it and try. The worst thing that can happen is that you get a no, but you better try than have the regrets.
