Nicole Barron

Nicole Barron serves as a staff accountant at Van Gen Group, an LLC, working out of Tomball, Texas since April. In this role, she partners with the CFO on financial cleanups, including general ledger and intercompany reconciliations, as well as overall book organization for the energy and data center services company. With nearly four years of professional experience following her 2022 college graduation, her career began in Alabama after attending Wallace State Community College and graduating from Spring Hill College. She gained foundational skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and settlements at the Hangout group in Gulf Shores and later at Evergreen Transport, a trucking company in Mobile. Nicole recently completed her master's degree in May and intends to sit for the CPA exam. Beyond her professional work, she co-founded a non-profit foundation with her sister that supplies school materials to children in the Philippines through donations and grants, and she previously mentored girls ages 6 to 15 at Light of the Village church in Pritchard, Alabama, through Bible study, mentorship, and tutoring.
