Ten minutes with Nicole
01What do you attribute your success to?
My manager at Charter, Marco Henderson, who gave me the opportunity and promoted me shortly after.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
She should do it. There's a lot of things in IT that you can learn, it's ever-changing, it's ever-evolving. It's a good place for women to be. There are not a lot of women in IT, and they could come in and definitely make a difference and shine a different perspective on the field.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My non-traditional educational journey through divorce and parenting while earning both bachelor's and master's degrees taught me that if you put your mind to something you want to achieve, you will. I didn't let barriers stop me.
