Her Interview

Ten minutes with Nicole

01What do you attribute your success to?

My mother didn't let me fall. She always pushed me to do better, to educate. She was an avid reader, so she'd always make me read, and broaden my mind and my vocabulary. She's just always been that person for me.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Give yourself grace and just don't really sweat the small stuff. From one of my best, my favorite managers. You can only control what's in your sphere for today.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be true to yourself, and be honest with yourself. Really kind of look at what you can and cannot do, and be honest about it. Don't set yourself up for failure. Self-analyzation, be willing to admit when you've made a mistake, or admit when you can't do something.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Compassion is a big thing that people seemed to not have anymore, and empathy.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Honesty, loyalty, communication, transparency.
