Her Interview

Ten minutes with Nicole

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my competitive nature, perseverance, and strong work ethic. I am naturally driven to challenge myself, set high standards, and continuously strive for improvement. I believe that success comes from hard work, determination, and the willingness to remain focused even when challenges arise. My competitive spirit motivates me to pursue excellence, while my perseverance helps me stay committed to my goals and overcome obstacles along the way.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I have ever received is that I am my own competition and, ultimately, the only person who can hold me back is myself. I have carried this perspective throughout my career by focusing on personal growth, setting meaningful goals, and continuously challenging myself to improve. Rather than comparing my journey to others, I strive to become a stronger, more capable version of myself and remain accountable for the choices, effort, and determination I bring to every opportunity.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

The best advice I would give young women entering the industry is to ask plenty of questions, seek out mentors, and never be afraid to start at the entry level. Take the time to learn the business, understand how different roles contribute to the organization, and build relationships with experienced professionals who can provide guidance and encouragement. I also recommend regularly visiting company websites to explore career opportunities and applying for entry-level positions that allow you to learn while earning. Every position is an opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop your skills, and build a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the industry is overcoming self-doubt and the lack of experience that can sometimes make it difficult to recognize your own potential. However, I believe there are tremendous opportunities for growth, particularly for individuals who are willing to learn, ask questions, and take on new challenges. The industry offers a variety of pathways for professional development and advancement, while also providing opportunities to build a rewarding career with a strong work-life balance.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my professional and personal life are kindness, honesty, and integrity. I believe in treating people with respect and compassion, regardless of their position or background, and always striving to do the right thing even when it is difficult. I believe that how we treat others reflects who we are, so I make it a priority to treat people the way I would want to be treated—with honesty, respect, and genuine kindness.
