What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received came from a mentor who told me, “Everywhere you go, be a sponge.” That advice has stayed with me—I’ve learned to absorb as much knowledge and experience as possible in every environment. It’s helped me grow, adapt, and stay open to continuous learning throughout my career.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to put yourself out there—even if it feels uncomfortable. Growth comes from stepping outside your comfort zone, trying new things, and challenging yourself. Don’t wait for opportunities to come to you—go after them, believe in your abilities, and keep pushing yourself to learn and improve every step of the way.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges—and opportunities—I’m facing right now is learning to find my voice within a new team and market, especially in a male-dominated industry. It’s a process of building confidence, earning respect, and staying true to who I am while adapting to a new environment. At the same time, it’s a great opportunity to grow as a leader, contribute a fresh perspective, and help pave the way for more inclusivity in the industry.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are trust, communication, family, and credibility. Trust and open communication are the foundation of any strong team, and I believe in showing up with honesty and consistency. Family keeps me grounded, and credibility—built through hard work and integrity—is something I strive to maintain in everything I do.
