Nicole Johns is a commercial roofing and business development leader with more than five years of experience in the roofing and multifamily industries. She currently serves as Vice President of Business Development at Unified Service Partners / LEVEL Roofing, where she oversees commercial sales strategy, builds and coaches high-performing sales teams, develops pipelines, and closes complex contracts. Known as “Your Commercial Roofer,” Nicole has built a strong reputation for credibility, product expertise, and hands-on leadership in a traditionally male-dominated field.

Nicole’s career began on the operations and property management side of the multifamily industry, where she gained a deep understanding of how buildings function and what property owners truly need. She later transitioned into sales within the multifamily vertical before moving into commercial roofing, expanding her work to include healthcare facilities, restaurants, and large-scale commercial properties. In addition to her role with LEVEL Roofing, she recently launched AllSource Property Solutions, a company focused on providing practical, affordable, and hands-on services to commercial property owners.

A committed industry advocate, Nicole serves on the Board of Directors for the Apartment Association of Greater Orlando and chairs its RISE mentoring committee, while also remaining active in several regional and state apartment associations and chambers of commerce. Her leadership and impact were recognized in 2024 when she was named Rookie Supplier of the Year in the apartment industry. Nicole brings a people-first, knowledge-driven approach to every role she takes on, combining grit, integrity, and service to build lasting partnerships and elevate standards across the industry.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to learning from strong mentors and experienced enterprise sales leaders, especially those who took the time to show me the ropes and challenge me to grow. Staying hands-on, deeply knowledgeable about the materials, and approaching my work full throttle with perseverance has made all the difference.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received came from my first sales mentor, Jeff Bischoff, who taught me the importance of mastering your craft and leading by example—lessons I now pass on by mentoring new sales vendors in the apartment industry.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Go full throttle—this is a male-dominated industry, but confidence comes from being deeply informed, hands-on, and unapologetically knowledgeable about the products and services you represent.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges is earning credibility on job sites where women often face extra scrutiny, but the opportunity lies in roofing’s access to multiple verticals and the growing demand for affordable, hands-on service solutions for smaller property owners.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Mentorship and giving back matter deeply to me, along with delivering practical, hands-on service, maintaining strong professional competence, and ensuring accessibility and affordability for smaller property owners.
