Her Interview

Ten minutes with Nicole

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to an unwavering commitment to excellence, resilience in the face of challenges, and a deep passion for serving and empowering others. Throughout my career, I have been driven by determination, perseverance, and a continuous desire to grow both personally and professionally. I have also been fortunate to benefit from the guidance of exceptional mentors and supporters whose encouragement and leadership helped shape my journey, inspiring me to remain focused on my goals and pursue every opportunity with confidence and purpose.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

One of the most valuable pieces of career advice I received was to have the confidence to step into opportunities before feeling fully prepared. If you have earned a seat at the table, it is because your experience, potential, and capabilities have already been recognized. Trust in your abilities, remain committed to continuous learning, and understand that expertise is developed through action, experience, and perseverance.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Never allow rejection to define your potential or diminish your ambition. Every setback presents an opportunity to build resilience, refine your approach, and strengthen your determination. Remain steadfast in your goals, maintain confidence in your abilities, and continue pursuing opportunities with purpose and perseverance. Success is often achieved by those who demonstrate the courage to persist long after others have given up.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the most significant challenges facing today's healthcare recruitment landscape is a combination of workforce constraints, organizational hiring freezes, and an increasingly competitive employment market. Many positions now attract an unprecedented volume of qualified candidates, creating greater competition for opportunities. Despite these obstacles, professionals who remain proactive, adaptable, and persistent continue to distinguish themselves. Success often belongs to those who maintain confidence in their abilities, embrace continuous growth, and view challenges as opportunities rather than barriers.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I firmly believe that sustained professional success requires a purposeful commitment to personal well-being and work-life integration. Prioritizing self-care is essential not only for preventing burnout but also for maintaining the clarity, energy, and resilience needed to perform at a high level. My experiences living abroad reinforced the importance of this philosophy, as many cultures place significant value on family, personal fulfillment, and meaningful experiences outside the workplace. By investing in my well-being, I am able to bring my best self to both my professional responsibilities and personal relationships.
