What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to growing up in a household where money was openly discussed, which sparked my interest in finances from a young age. As a little girl, I loved creating budgets, and that passion led me to a career in corporate banking, where I honed my understanding of how to manage and grow money. Since 2008, I decided to channel that expertise into entrepreneurship by starting my own bookkeeping business. I have a genuine love for money and helping people manage their finances, and as a business owner, I wear many hats—handling accounting, bookkeeping, management, and financial reporting. I take pride in providing comprehensive support to my clients and helping them achieve financial clarity and success.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to follow my passions and stay curious. I’ve found that pursuing what I love whether it’s problem-solving in my work, learning new skills, or exploring creative outlets keeps me motivated and opens doors I never expected. Balancing work with time for my family, like reading, doing crafts, or going to the beach with my kids, also reminds me that fulfillment comes from both professional and personal growth.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to be bold, stay persistent, and focus on helping others succeed. I’ve always made it a priority to reach as many women as I can and support them in growing their businesses. Building a network, sharing knowledge, and lifting others up not only strengthens the community but also opens doors for your own growth and success.
