What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
To young women entering my industry, I would say this: although energy and related fields are still largely male-dominated, it’s essential to recognize that your voice matters and to be confident in taking your seat at the table. Women are needed in these industries, and you absolutely deserve to contribute, lead, and shine through your skills and expertise. Invest the time to gain the education, build your knowledge, and develop your network—connect with mentors and peers who can guide and support you. With dedication, perseverance, and confidence in your abilities, you can succeed and make a meaningful impact.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My educational journey includes participation in the inaugural Women’s Executive Academy at Nichols College Graduate School. This program, launched in partnership with the Worcester Business Journal, is an eight-session certificate program designed to provide real-world insights from accomplished executives and to help emerging women leaders develop the skills, confidence, and strategies needed to excel in leadership roles. Through this experience, I’ve gained valuable perspectives on decision-making, negotiation, and executive leadership that I apply every day in my work and in mentoring others.
