About Nicole
She is a distinguished policy researcher, program manager, and technology ethics leader with deep expertise in the intersection of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, disinformation, and civil liberties. Currently serving as Executive Director of the Institute for American Leadership, she provides strategic leadership and direction for the organization's policy and research initiatives. Prior to this role, she spent over four years as Lead Researcher and Program Manager at Professorial Consulting, where she directed a cross-functional research project on ethics and disinformation, examining the causes and effects of misinformation and the ethical impacts of data, privacy, democracy, and censorship in civil society. She also served as a Policy Advisor for the European Commission, researching AI cyber resilience and cybersecurity strategies for the European Union. Earlier, she worked as Senior Growth Hacker at Kangaroo, leading cross-functional initiatives to scale user engagement and product adoption. She holds an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge's Judge Business School, where her dissertation focused on AI cyber-resilience. She is recognized as a strategic, analytical, and mission-driven leader who bridges technology, policy, and ethics to advance informed decision-making and safeguard democratic values.
