Ten minutes with Nicole

01What do you attribute your success to?

My high school years were hard, as I really struggled with my academics, extracurricular activities, mental disorders, etc. I think back to how that time in my life made me feel, and how much stronger and confident I’ve grown since then. That time of my life where I really struggled is a huge motivating factor for me, as I have improved so much since and really enjoy the point of life that I’m at now.

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

What I value most right now in both my professional and personal life is time. Personally, I need time to not feel pressure. The freedom to do whatever I want with that time is so decompressing. Whether I pick up a book, log on to a favorite reality show, spend time with my friends, or just do nothing; that freedom of choice and nothing pressing is so important. Professionally, time is so important. Being able to delegate my time between my classes, my internships, my jobs, etc. is an important skill to learn, and one that will prevail way past college.
