About Nicole
I've been in art education for 24 years, and it's been my entire career. After college, I started working at a fine art fashion magazine in New York and was doing a lot of artwork with galleries. Then I saw an art teaching position open where I'm currently at, which was primarily photography and graphic design, so I came here to start teaching. Since then, I've gotten other degrees and sometimes teach at different colleges. I do some freelance design, but I have consistently been teaching here at the high school and making art. That's the consistent theme, but there's been a lot of little things on the side - I've taught at different places and pursued various projects. I'm currently at a place where I have so many things I want to do and so much under my belt. I have a good resume and the credentials, but I'm looking at the Venn diagram of who I am and what there is out in the world. I'd really like to be able to use these experiences in my education and other work in a way that could be helpful to people.
