Ten minutes with Nicole
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success directly to the key female mentors who supported me early in my career. Over a five-year period, they consistently invested in my development by sharing their knowledge, training me, and generously pouring into my growth.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that while anyone can identify problems in a job, true value comes from being willing to propose solutions. I was also encouraged to always take advantage of opportunities to gain experience, and I’ve been fortunate to learn from incredible female mentors and bosses who reinforced this mindset throughout my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to consistently document their work and responsibilities throughout their career. By keeping track of tasks and accomplishments over time, it becomes easier to reflect on personal growth, clearly demonstrate impact, and confidently support promotions or role progression as responsibilities evolve.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is the misperception that administrative work can be fully replaced by AI, when experienced professionals are needed to drive and utilize these tools effectively for successful results.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Authentic communication is really important in both work and personal life, where you speak from your own voice rather than assumptions to get better results and understand situations.
