Her Interview
Ten minutes with Nicole
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my ability to adapt, remain resilient, and continue moving forward regardless of the challenges I face. Growing up as the middle child in a family of eleven taught me the importance of being flexible, adjusting to changing circumstances, and not taking setbacks or criticism personally. Those experiences instilled perseverance, a strong work ethic, and the confidence to navigate obstacles with grace while staying focused on achieving my goals.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've ever received is that mistakes are data, and numbers don't lie. I’ve learned to view setbacks as valuable opportunities to gather information, refine my approach, and make better decisions rather than as failures. By relying on objective data and measurable results, I can evaluate what is working, identify areas for improvement, and continue growing both personally and professionally.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to stay true to who you are, even when stepping into a completely new career or pursuing opportunities later in life. Your unique experiences, perspective, and authenticity are strengths that can set you apart. Embrace continuous learning, have confidence in your abilities, and don't let age or change discourage you from pursuing your goals. Every new beginning is an opportunity to grow, make an impact, and build a fulfilling career.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that matter most to me, both professionally and personally, begin with a positive and supportive culture. I believe that enjoying where you work and the people you work alongside creates the foundation for long-term success and fulfillment. My perspective shifted after undergoing surgery, reinforcing the importance of prioritizing a healthy, collaborative environment above all else. When you are in the right culture, opportunities for personal growth naturally follow, and financial success becomes a byproduct of doing meaningful work in a place where you can thrive.
