Ten minutes with Nicole
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success primarily to my mother, who has been my greatest role model and continuously encouraged me to persevere through challenges. I also value the support and ideas from collaborators and mentors who helped me grow both personally and professionally.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to never take anything personally because you never truly know what others are going through. I also learned not to judge people by appearances or assumptions.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would tell young women to be fearless and fully embrace creativity, as it is the foundation of success in this industry. Staying open-minded, adaptable, and expressive is essential for growth and opportunity.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenges include working with diverse international clientele, managing exclusivity in limited fashion inventory, and navigating pricing expectations in the luxury market. At the same time, there are strong opportunities in expanding collaborations, particularly within pageantry, film, and television industries.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are creativity, empathy, collaboration, and open-mindedness. I believe in treating others with understanding, supporting diverse perspectives, and maintaining authenticity while empowering others through fashion and service.
