As a PhD candidate in Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Art Theory at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts, Nicole is exploring the MetaBaroque—a nascent aesthetic framework addressing the intersection of human experience, machine intelligence, and the posthuman condition. Her research examines how cultural artifacts, performance, and media can embody the tension between ephemera and archive, eros and excess, as humans confront the evolving landscape of technological and aesthetic transformation.
