Nicolette Theodore-Moad

Nicolette Theodore-Moad is an experienced education professional serving as Assistant Principal at West Central Elementary School in Biggsville, Illinois, and as an Adjunct Instructor at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa. With 32 years in education, she has built a career centered on supporting children, developing educators, and strengthening learning environments.

Nicolette began her career after earning a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with a specialty endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education from Western Illinois University. She later earned a master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Walden University and completed the principal program at the University of Northern Iowa, earning her administrator’s license. Her diverse experience includes daycare, Catholic schools, special education support, substitute teaching, and 18 years as a preschool teacher and instructional coach with the Burlington Community School District.

Throughout her career, Nicolette has remained committed to continuous growth and creating opportunities for students and educators. In her current leadership role, she combines her extensive classroom experience with administrative responsibilities, while her adjunct teaching allows her to mentor future educators and connect them with meaningful classroom experiences. Her dedication to education continues to be driven by her passion for working with students and helping the next generation of educators succeed.
