Nicolle Rodrigues is a Senior User Experience Designer and Product Designer at Zion & Zion with over a decade of experience creating user-focused, data-driven digital solutions. Her work blends creativity and strategy, helping businesses translate complex ideas into intuitive, human-centered experiences that drive measurable impact. Nicolle specializes in crafting seamless digital journeys that not only meet user needs but also empower organizations to grow.
Before joining Zion & Zion, Nicolle held progressive roles across UX, product design, and creative direction, including positions at Vistex, Xentris Wireless, and Mais Propaganda. Her career foundation began in Brazil, where she gained valuable international experience in digital marketing and design strategy before relocating to the U.S. Her background in both industrial design and graphic design equips her with a unique lens on product usability, storytelling, and visual communication.
Nicolle is also an author and thought leader in the UX space, having published articles on topics such as cognitive psychology in design, loss aversion in user behavior, and data visualization. Her insights have helped organizations rethink their approach to user engagement, accessibility, and inclusive design. She is known for her ability to combine research with creative execution, ensuring designs are not only visually compelling but also rooted in data and user empathy.
Looking ahead, Nicolle is preparing to launch her own LLC, where she plans to expand her design practice and partner with businesses seeking innovative, user-centered digital solutions.

I attribute my success to the knowledge and experience I first gained in Brazil and to the resilience I’ve built as an immigrant woman creating a successful career in the U.S.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always take feedback in a positive way. It has helped me grow, refine my skills, and continue evolving as a professional.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I give to young women entering this industry is simple: be hungry, stay open-minded, and find your niche — then go for it with everything you have.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges I see in the industry today is the rapid evolution of AI as a powerful tool. It is changing the way we work, design, and solve problems, and it requires adaptability and a willingness to learn continuously.
