Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to do the hard work when outcomes are uncertain. I’ve never believed in shortcuts. Every meaningful step in my career came from staying committed to learning, listening deeply, and building trust over time. Equally important has been surrounding myself with people who challenge me, support me, and share a commitment to integrity and impact.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I received was to focus on doing excellent work and let your reputation speak for you. Early in my career, I was encouraged to prioritize substance over visibility, i.e., master the craft, stay grounded in your values, and success will follow. That guidance has shaped how I lead, how I advise clients, and how I build long-term relationships.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Believe that your perspective matters, especially in rooms where you may be the only one who looks or sounds like you. Build deep expertise, but don’t underestimate the importance of confidence and self-advocacy. Seek mentors and allies, trust your instincts, and don’t wait for permission to step into leadership. Most importantly, define success on your own terms and stay anchored to what truly matters to you.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in healthcare and life sciences today is the pressure to move fast while the consequences of getting it wrong are incredibly high. Organizations are juggling scientific innovation, regulatory uncertainty, and commercial expectations, often all at once. The opportunity lies in slowing down just enough to make better decisions that are grounded in data, aligned across teams, and centered on patients. Leaders who can bring clarity, alignment, and empathy to complexity will define the next chapter of the industry.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, accountability, and compassion guide everything I do. I believe in treating people with respect, keeping commitments, and leading with empathy, both professionally and personally. I also value lifelong learning and service, and I try to model balance by prioritizing well-being, family, and giving back to the community. Success, to me, is meaningful only when it’s shared and aligned with purpose.
