About Niharika
Niharika Nidhi is a human resource leader with over 20 years of experience across strategic HR leadership, talent management, employee relations, and workforce planning. She holds a Master's in Human Resources with a specialization in HR and maintains her expertise through ongoing trainings and certifications. She is a member of SHRM. Niharika began her career at Tata Consultancy Services, where she was responsible for managing HR operations for a team of around 500 people and led the performance management process, including promotions, for a 30,000-person organization. She also managed the employee satisfaction survey to gauge engagement levels. She later took on an HR business partnership role at Innova Solutions, advancing through corporate and leadership positions where she handled all aspects of HR, including performance management, talent management, employee engagement, employee relations, and compensation and benefits. Niharika attributes her success to hard work, persistence, and a willingness to take on challenges with a never-say-no attitude.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My hard work, my persistence, and my willingness to take on challenges and never say no attitude is what has helped me reach where I am.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Always keep learning and be authentic, like, don't succumb to pressure, always be your authentic self with what you believe in. There will be pressures to make you change your perspective, but if you're not convinced, and if your knowledge, your expertise, and your experience says otherwise, you should stick to your ground, and at some point of time, you will be able to prove your point.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never stop learning, that would be one advice, and always be true to yourself, and believe in yourself.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The big challenge is with AI coming into picture, how the workplace gets affected, how employees are reacting to that change, and how workplaces are being navigated. As HR, the challenge is to understand the nuances and changes with AI, the anxiousness within employees and leadership. The opportunity lies in mastering how to manage employees, workplace, and organizations with AI to achieve goals and become more experienced and efficient.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important value is being trustworthy, having a lot of integrity. And whatever you commit to, make sure you keep up those commitments, always be that dependable person that everyone can look up to.
