Her Story
About Nikie
Nikie Fialdini is the founder of Quick Nik Notary, a mobile notary and client advocacy service based in the Greater Seattle area. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco, she began her career in labor & delivery nursing, where she supported families during critical and often emotional life moments. She later expanded into telephone advice nursing, broadening her scope of care to provide guidance and support beyond the hospital setting. Her professional journey continued into healthcare administration and office management, where she worked in clinical and financial environments helping clients navigate insurance systems, onboarding processes, and complex administrative requirements. These roles strengthened her ability to advocate for individuals facing stressful or confusing situations, particularly when accessing care or essential services. Across each position, she developed a reputation for clear communication, empathy, and a strong commitment to client support. Today, through Quick Nik Notary, she provides mobile notary services that bring legal document assistance directly to clients at home, in hospitals, and in workplaces. Her work includes notarizing documents, verifying identities, and assisting with important legal paperwork during sensitive life events. Alongside her notary practice, she also works as a DJ and event host, contributing to community events through entertainment and engagement. Her professional philosophy is rooted in advocacy, accessibility, and meeting people where they are when they need support most.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Nikie
01What do you attribute your success to?
My mother told me when I was a kid, “Nikie, one day you're gonna change the world. Im not sure how yet, but I just know you will." Decades later, I’ve immersed myself in so many different industries, and she has been so supportive and honest along the way. She was the only person who spoke up to challenge me like “hey, I think maybe this isn't the schedule for you” or “how are you going to balance all of these things together?”. But she's given me the space to explore, and to fail, and to learn from all of those things, while also being my biggest supporter along the way.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Not everyone is going to like you. You're not going to be everyone's cup of tea. You’re always going to run in to people that don't agree with the way you're navigating your life, your career choice, or sometimes just clash with your personality. But just learn to roll with the punches, and accept that you're not going to be able to please everybody. “You do you” and give people the space to decide if they want to take a different approach. As long as you change the life of one person, you’ve done your job. That’s the first step to changing the world.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be kind to yourself. The work-life balance is so important. Think of yourself as a beautiful flower. You can't have just the sunshine and not the water. You're not going to be able to grow without a little of both. Give yourself some grace, and allow yourself to feel all the feels, and know that you're going to fall sometimes, but as long as you pick yourself back up and you keep trying, it doesn't matter how many times you fall down. Life is a journey, not a destination. So just enjoy the ride.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty, integrity, and accountability are at the top of my list, along with a lot of compassion for others. Knowing that you never know what someone's going through, and a lot of people are really good at “wearing the mask”. I’m also big on autonomy, and giving people space to make their own decisions and be their own person, without trying to push your ideals onto them. Just like I say at my karaoke side gig, “we listen and we don’t judge. Just sing like no one is watching”.
