Nikita Gupta

Nikita Gupta serves as Director at Lila Sciences, where she leads a team of scientists, manages platform and customer partnerships, and builds scalable infrastructure involving software, data, and automation. With more than eight years in biotech and twelve years overall, her career includes roles at Ginkgo Bioworks, where she gained exposure to RNA therapeutics, antibody developability, and microbial immunology; Abcam, following the acquisition of her division at Applied Stem Cell; and earlier positions developing customer relationship solutions for biomedical companies as a software engineer. She began her professional journey after earning an undergraduate degree in biotechnology in India, later pursuing graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University focused on stem cell biology and cancer cell biology. She is currently enrolled in an Executive MBA program at MIT to support her transition into strategic leadership. Her path reflects a commitment to rapid learning, cross-functional collaboration, and advancing cutting-edge biotech innovations.
