Nikki Bishop

Higher education professional with a strong background in academic advising, student development, and enrollment services, currently serving as a Senior Academic Advisor and Adjunct Instructor at the UNA Sanders College of Business and Technology. I am dedicated to supporting student success through personalized guidance, advocacy, and meaningful engagement across the academic journey.

In my current role, I advise students on academic planning, career pathways, and goal setting, while also teaching as an adjunct instructor—bringing a practical, student-centered approach to the classroom. My experience spans advising, admissions, and student engagement, allowing me to support students from recruitment through graduation.

Previously, as an Academic Advisor and Admissions Coordinator, I developed expertise in student recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies, helping students navigate transitions and make informed decisions about their education. My foundation in student success began at the University of North Alabama, where I held multiple leadership and service roles focused on orientation, student engagement, and community development.

I am passionate about creating inclusive, supportive environments that empower students to achieve their academic and personal goals, while fostering confidence, independence, and long-term success.
