About Nikki

Nikki Kaushik is Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Quantic, where she leads product strategy, development, and innovation for a commerce platform built to help businesses operate smarter, move faster, and grow with confidence.

She brings nearly 26 years of experience in software development — a career that began in India in 2000 and has taken her from hands-on engineering to building and scaling technology companies across two continents. In 2008, she founded Fornix Solutions, an IT consulting firm specializing in application development, mobile solutions, database architecture, and software testing. She also co-founded and operated Spice Kitchen, an experience that gave her firsthand perspective into the technology gaps and operational challenges facing restaurant owners and small business operators every day.

In 2015, Kaushik co-launched Quantic — an intuitive, customizable commerce platform serving restaurants, retail businesses, and kiosks globally. What began as a point-of-sale solution has grown under her leadership into a full-scale operating platform, supporting more than 50 white-label brands across seven offices internationally, with expanding operations in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. As CPO, she shapes the company's product vision, partners closely with the engineering team, and works directly with clients to ensure the platform evolves alongside the real-world needs of the businesses it serves.

Kaushik attributes her success to being a Catalyst — someone who does not just generate ideas but drives them through to completion. She leads with a philosophy rooted in work ethic, accountability, and decisive action, values she models daily while leading a growing global organization.

She is an active member of the PayTech Women Philadelphia-Delaware Valley Chapter and a committed advocate for greater representation of women in fintech and technology. Her message to the next generation of women entering the industry is direct: trust your abilities, speak up, bring your ideas forward, and never let traditional barriers define the boundaries of your ambition.

Ten minutes with Nikki

01What do you attribute your success to?

Success, to me, has always been about closing the gap between what is possible and what actually gets built. I have always believed that the most important thing you can do with a good idea is act on it — not eventually, but now. What I bring to every room is a bias for action and a deep sense of accountability. The distance between a good idea and a real outcome is execution, and execution requires someone willing to own it, drive it, and see it through no matter how complex the path gets. That mindset has shaped the culture at Quantic and, I believe, has been at the heart of how we have grown from a single product into a global commerce platform — one that today serves thousands of merchants across the United States, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates, and continues to push the boundaries of what operators can expect from their technology.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I ever received changed the way I show up every day: never hold yourself back. Share your ideas. Take initiative. Speak up — even when the room is intimidating, even when you are the only one raising your hand. Confidence is not about having all the answers. It is about trusting that your perspective deserves a seat at the table — and then taking it.

I have come to believe that meaningful contributions almost always begin with a single moment of courage — the decision to put forward an idea, champion an initiative, or offer a perspective that shifts the conversation. That belief has guided me throughout my career, and it is the same advice I give to every woman I have the privilege of mentoring.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

To young women entering fintech: the industry needs your voice, your perspective, and your ambition — exactly as they are. Do not shrink yourself to fit a space that was not originally designed for you. Redesign the space. Be confident not because the room will always welcome you, but because what you bring to it is irreplaceable. Challenge the status quo. Pursue what you want without apology. The path forward in this industry will be built by the women bold enough to walk it first.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

AI is reshaping fintech faster than most organisations are ready for — and that gap between possibility and preparedness is where the real risk lives. The potential is undeniable: greater efficiency, sharper insights, better customer outcomes. But potential has to be earned through responsibility. Data privacy, cybersecurity, accuracy, and strong governance are not constraints on innovation — they are what make innovation sustainable. The question for every leader in this space is not whether to embrace AI. It is whether you are building the right foundation to do it safely.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Two values have anchored everything I have built — professionally and personally: strong work ethic and the discipline to protect time. I do not believe in half measures. When I commit to something, I see it through — completely, carefully, and to the highest standard I can deliver. Time is the one resource that cannot be recovered, and when you are leading a global organisation across seven offices and multiple time zones, that truth becomes non-negotiable. Staying organised, setting clear priorities, and using every hour with intention is not just good practice — it is the difference between a team that delivers and one that drifts.
