Her Interview
Ten minutes with Nikole
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to myself as a creator. My hands have created and built some of the most beautiful things. My hands have hugged individuals that have given them light when it had dark. They are steady moving and steady creating even as I get older.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You have to love yourself first before you can love anybody else. If you do not love yourself how do you say that you genuinely love someone else. I give them hugs and I let them know I speak life into them. It makes no sense that you're beautiful you have a beautiful body you're so intelligent you're so smart and you're walking around here and you're raising children on your own struggling because of the decisions that we make because we don't love ourselves.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is getting myself out there as a one-man army doing everything and building my audience to be known for who I am and what I can do. The biggest opportunity is to finally express my gifts and talents in a way that I can actually make an honest income off of them with the same efforts I would put into a 9-to-5 job.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Respect and understanding is very important. As a client as a customer as a guest I want you to understand that my only objective is to bring your vision to life and your desire to life. I'm not here to tell you what you want I'm here to listen to what you want and produce. I don't add fire to it I allow them to say they keep and then I do my best to bring for what it is that they want even with the challenges and difficulties. I learned from my mistakes I learned from the disappointment and I move forward. But I also embrace the wins I embrace the compliments.
