Nilanjana Banerjee

I am a technologist at heart, a hardcore IT leader and people leader who has been in the field since 2003. I started my career with Cognizant, an IT service provider company, where I worked from 2003 to 2015. After that, I spent about 8 months with another service-providing company called Signacy, and since 2016, I have been working for T-Mobile. Throughout my career, I have been deeply involved in software development, product development, software engineering, quality engineering, and all associated fields of software delivery. For the last few years, I have been playing a key role in AI transformation and AI and machine learning transformation at my company. I am passionate about mentoring and serve as a career mentor for interns and many lady employees in my company. I am a member of Women in Tech and an industry speaker, presenting at conferences like Grace Hopper, Agile conferences, and DevOps conferences. I believe strongly in supporting women in technology, not just because I am a woman, but because I feel they need to be represented more and need to have more equality and opportunities. I believe in diversity and equal opportunities for all. Beyond technology, I love music, literature, and I am a passionate cook. One of my retirement dreams is to open a fusion restaurant. I like contributing to the technology world and influencing men and women, especially women, positively to contribute and shine more in this world, while also inculcating my own interests in my life.
