Her Story
About Nirva
I grew up painfully shy and never really liked being around people or being in crowds, which makes it ironic that recruiting has really given me the bones to where I am today. In recruiting, you have to be able to network, build relationships, and build trust with both candidates and hiring managers internally in different organizations. That has really helped me on the career coaching side, being able to build relationships with the clients that I work with, and then on the bartending side, being able to build relationships with clients that hire me as well. I just love connecting with others. My days typically start with consulting and recruiting part-time in the first half of my day. In the second half, it's fielding emails, whether that's from coaching clients or from bartending submittals and inquiries that I get. I typically end my day with a coaching client or a follow-up to either one of those inquiries, and then making sure I fit in some self-care as well, especially getting outside with the New England weather finally getting better.

01What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Brand awareness is most important to me, and I say brand, it's more that you can do one thing. With my coaching, I continually put out there that you don't need to fit into one box. I think we all were grown up to just do one thing, but for me, I have many different passions. I have two businesses, and I want people to know that you can do it all. If you have the vision, if you have the passion for it, you can go for it. That's really the main message I want to put out there for anybody who reads it.
