About Nisha
Nisha Garimalla brings over 15 years of experience to her work in socially impactful technology and GovTech. After earning her undergraduate degree in computer science and a master's degree in computer science with a focus on human-computer interaction from Stanford University, she returned to Arkansas and began working with the Department of Corrections on bipartisan re-entry initiatives. Her efforts have centered on bridging gaps between government agencies, nonprofits, and individuals in need by creating unified digital experiences that replace siloed systems. She has led product design, management, and business development, including expanding operations across states and completing business school to strengthen her leadership capabilities. A notable achievement includes collaborating with SC Thrive to develop ThriveHub, a system that has facilitated over 200,000 benefits applications through integrations with social services and support for individuals preparing for release from prison.
