Nisreen Yaafouri is a seasoned consultant specializing in process management, strategic program delivery, and organizational change management with more than 15 years of experience leading complex business initiatives across consulting, technology, financial services, and manufacturing. As a Strategic Program Manager and Process Consultant with Orianna Peaks Consulting, she partners with executive stakeholders to align business objectives across departments, optimize operations, and implement scalable solutions that drive measurable results. Throughout her consulting career, she has successfully guided enterprise organizations through business transformation, portfolio governance, AI adoption, and process improvement initiatives, helping organizations improve efficiency, strengthen customer success, and achieve sustainable growth.
Before transitioning into consulting, Yaafouri built a diverse career spanning project management, customer experience, and business operations. She spent several years managing projects and planning large-scale events within the building materials industry, where she led customer experience initiatives, operational improvements, and cross-functional programs across the western United States. Earlier in her career, she dedicated nearly a decade to the financial services industry, overseeing corporate event planning, marketing operations, and program management while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for advisor communications and marketing materials. Her ability to bridge strategy with execution has enabled her to lead multimillion-dollar portfolios, improve customer adoption, streamline onboarding, and deliver transformational business outcomes across multiple industries.
Based in Denver, Colorado, Yaafouri earned her BS in Finance from the University of Colorado Denver and continues to expand her expertise through professional development, including Vanderbilt University's Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT certification and ongoing pursuit of her Project Management Professional (PMP) credential. Passionate about continuous learning, innovation, and servant leadership, she is also committed to giving back to her community. 01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to continually striving to become a better version of myself each day. I believe in being self-reliant, embracing lifelong growth, and demonstrating that women are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to. Throughout my journey, I have encountered people who doubted my abilities or believed I could not reach certain levels of success, but those experiences only strengthened my determination to prove that hard work, resilience, and confidence can overcome limiting expectations. I also recognize that there is no single path to success. Every challenge, setback, and unexpected turn has been an opportunity to learn and grow. Rather than focusing too far into the future, I choose to stay present, appreciate the journey, and trust that each experience is preparing me for the opportunities ahead.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women to take advantage of every opportunity available, especially internships during college, as they provide invaluable hands-on experience and help build a strong professional foundation. Networking is equally important because your network truly is your net worth. The relationships you cultivate can open doors to opportunities you may never have discovered on your own. Commit to lifelong learning by staying informed about changes in the world and your industry, and be willing to adapt as new challenges and innovations emerge. Finally, prioritize your financial future by educating yourself about investing and creating multiple streams of income. Building wealth early through smart financial decisions will provide greater stability, independence, and opportunities throughout your career.
