Her Interview

Ten minutes with Nita

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say just persistence. It's kind of like an old always be open to learning, because I think that you have to constantly be willing to learn. It's not what you do, but it's who you're doing it with. Finding the right leaders with the right mindset.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Find the right leaders to work with. It is on what made me successful was finding leaders who had the right vision and were able to almost see around corners where the business was going, and then they gave me the authority and the responsibility to go achieve and do what I needed to do. It's not what you do, but it's who you're doing it with.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say just kind of like know yourself, and just be what you're looking for, you will find it, you just have to know where you're going, then it's easy to find, and it may not go in a straight line, but you will get there.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

There is no substitute for hard work. Do whatever you're doing with full dedication. And to me, I think that's the thing, do it with passion, just that's the most important thing that you can do. The other thing is to always remember that I know everybody's very excited about technology, but it's the most important thing is the human part of it. Any of this stuff, it's not about technology, it's about the people.
