Her Interview

Ten minutes with Nomenjanahary

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my faith in God. If I didn't have that faith in God that I have right now, I would probably give up. When you have something you believe in, you believe that that power will get you through it.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't give up. Growing up, everybody was skeptical when I said I want to do this internship in the U.S. because I don't come from a lot of money. But I didn't give up. I started working, did some events. My parents didn't raise me to give up, so I will go as far as I can. Just do not give up, just work hard, you'll get there.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

As a woman, you have a lot of setbacks. My biggest value right now is trusting God. Keep your faith, because your faith is what keeps you going. It really doesn't matter if you're Muslim or whatever, keep your faith.
