Nora Riddle is the Founder of The Head of the Table LLC and host of The Head of the Table Podcast, where she empowers professionals and emerging leaders to navigate career transitions, overcome imposter syndrome, and step confidently into leadership roles. Drawing on her experience as a former Policy Advisor and Chief of Staff in corporate America, Nora combines strategic frameworks, leadership tools, and mindset coaching to help clients align their goals with their values and lead authentically. Through her podcast, she amplifies conversations on professional growth, inclusion, and leadership, providing listeners with practical insights and strategies to claim their seat at the table.

Before founding her company, Nora served in multiple capacities at the U.S. Department of State, including as a Multilateral Economic Policy Advisor and negotiator on women’s economic empowerment initiatives. Her work has included representing the United States at G20 and APEC forums, where she helped secure inclusive language on women’s rights, healthcare, and Indigenous peoples’ issues. She also brings expertise in international trade, global policy frameworks, and public affairs consulting, guiding organizations on issues of inclusive growth and women’s economic security. Her professional philosophy is grounded in authenticity, humanity, and humor, reflecting her commitment to human-rights principles and equitable leadership.

A proud alumna of the University of Denver and the University of Glasgow, Nora studied International Studies and Economics with a focus on global political economy and international politics. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys outdoor adventures like rock climbing and hiking, exploring new restaurants, traveling domestically and internationally, gaming, reading, and staying active as a proud dog mom. Her hobbies reflect her belief in a balanced life, combining personal growth, creativity, and fun with her professional pursuits.

My advice to young women entering this industry is to go for your dreams. There’s never a perfect time to start — if you have the vision, pursue it. Your unique skills and perspective are exactly what the world needs.

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are authenticity, humanity, human rights, and a sense of humor — embracing laughter even in challenging moments.
