Dr. Norma Camero-Reno
Dr. Norma Camero-Reno is a distinguished professor of International Law at Schiller International University and a dedicated scholar of Human Rights at ULAC. With over two decades of experience in academia and community engagement, she has consistently combined scholarly excellence with practical advocacy. Her expertise spans international law, human rights, and civic empowerment, with a focus on creating educational opportunities and fostering leadership within diverse communities.
Dr. Camero-Reno serves as an active member of the Sheriff’s Hispanic Advisory Council (SHAC) in Tampa, Florida, where she plays a pivotal role in bridging communication and trust between law enforcement and the Hispanic community. Her leadership extends to nonprofit organizations, including her tenure as former President of Casa Venezuela Tampa Bay, demonstrating a lifelong commitment to social justice, community advocacy, and the empowerment of marginalized populations.
