Noura Tulimat
Noura Tulimat is a dedicated psychotherapist and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy in San Francisco. Drawing on a deep foundation in integrative and evidence-based practices, she provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals and communities navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges. Her work emphasizes mindfulness, cultural sensitivity, and holistic well-being—helping clients build resilience and self-awareness in their healing journeys.
In addition to her clinical work, Noura has served as a Behavioral Health Clinician at the Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice, where she supported system-impacted individuals through community mental health initiatives and court-related programs. Her diverse professional background also includes roles in financial coaching, equity consulting, and humanitarian work, reflecting a lifelong commitment to social justice and empowerment. Noura earned her Master of Arts in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, graduating with distinction, and her Bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College, where she received multiple awards for international studies and leadership.
Beyond her professional practice, Noura has contributed to global education and refugee advocacy through her volunteer work with Jusoor, focusing on fundraising, outreach, and teaching initiatives. Fluent in both Arabic and English, she bridges cultures with empathy and insight—qualities that define her approach as a therapist, mentor, and advocate for mental health accessibility and equity.

My advice to young women entering the industry is to be open to networking and put yourself out there so others can truly see your potential.

Right now, I’m in a period of transition and see it as an opportunity to expand my network and connect with new patients.
