Ten minutes with Nu

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of strategic thinking, empathy, persistence, and a genuine commitment to helping people and organizations grow. My professional journey began at age 18 when I entered student activities at my university, and higher education has remained an important part of my professional foundation ever since. As a first-generation graduate, I learned to combine my education in marketing and business administration with practical experience in leadership, operations, engagement, and organizational strategy.

I am especially proud of the lasting impact I have made through student and people engagement. I believe meaningful relationships, community, and a willingness to serve others have played a significant role in my development. Today, I continue to apply those lessons as an executive leader, entrepreneur, consultant, author, and speaker.

For me, success is also about discovering purpose, building meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities for others to grow. My involvement with women entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations, literacy initiatives, mentoring, and community programs reflects my belief that professional success becomes more meaningful when it creates a positive and lasting impact beyond myself.

02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value purpose, meaningful relationships, empathy, service, growth, and community. My work is grounded in a desire to help people and organizations move from vision to execution while creating systems and strategies that support sustainable success.

I also value leadership that creates opportunities for others. Through mentoring, women’s professional-development initiatives, nonprofit involvement, community partnerships, and student engagement, I seek to contribute to environments where people can grow, connect, and make meaningful progress.

At the center of my personal and professional life is a commitment to impact. I believe that when we use our experience, knowledge, and resources to support others, we create opportunities for growth that extend well beyond ourselves.
