About Nychole
Nychole Jacobs is a seasoned mortgage lending professional and Corporate Closing Manager with 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Nychole has built an accomplished career specializing in loan closing operations, government and conventional lending programs, compliance, team leadership, and training development. She currently serves at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, where she manages closing processes and supports teams in delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant loan transactions.
Nychole began her career in mortgage collections before transitioning into loan closing operations, where she developed expertise in FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, bond, down payment assistance, renovation, HELOC, bridge, investment property, and foreclosure-related loans. Throughout her career, she has held roles including Senior Closer, Senior Bond Closer, Corporate Bond Closing Team Lead, and Closer Training Developer. Her experience includes creating training programs, developing instructional materials, mentoring employees, and helping teams navigate changing industry requirements while maintaining high standards of service and accuracy.
Nychole attributes her success to hard work, dedication, commitment, adaptability, and consistently being willing to support others. She is passionate about leadership, teaching, and developing people, with a strong focus on character, agility, responsiveness, kindness, and continuous growth. Outside of her professional career, Nychole enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, including her two children. 01What do you attribute your success to?
Hard work, dedication, commitment, sacrifice, making myself available. This industry is ever-changing so you kind of just have to go with the flow and adjust as it goes. Showing up every day.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to always be kind, respectful, and understanding of others. Work hard, stay committed, and put in the effort needed to achieve your goals. The rewards will come with time.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to embrace the many opportunities available and stay open to learning. There is plenty of room to grow, take on different roles, and develop leadership skills. Mortgage lending is connected to many areas of real estate, offering endless opportunities to expand your knowledge and build a successful career.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunities in my field come from the ability to continuously learn, grow, and take on diverse roles. Mortgage lending is closely connected to real estate, creating many paths for professional development and leadership. No matter how long you have been in the industry, there is always something new to learn every day.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are strong character, adaptability, responsiveness, and a commitment to helping others. I believe in taking action, supporting people, and sharing knowledge through teaching and training. I am passionate about helping others grow and reaching their full potential.
