Her Story
About Obianuju
I began my career studying biotechnology at university and then ventured into public health after completing my internship at a public health laboratory. In 2021, I came to the United States to pursue my global health master's degree program, graduating in 2023 from Clark University. After graduation, I worked with the Massachusetts Health Autism Association, but I felt a strong calling to do my own thing and pursue my purpose. Now I'm working as an entrepreneur, organizing my businesses while simultaneously pursuing an MBA program at New England College in New Hampshire. My work is deeply rooted in community engagement, which I developed through my time at Clark University where most of our courses encouraged us to go into the community. I've had extensive community engagement in the Worcester area and participated in conferences with organizations like MHUA and the American Public Health Association. My true passion and purpose is reaching out to women and young girls, helping them come out of their own health state and giving them a sustainable life that can help them create generational wealth. I have my own foundation focused on going into the community and creating meaningful impact.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise her to heal. If she has any trauma or any issues, heal and focus on herself. Because ladies, women need to heal for the mental aligned, for the men to heal. I strongly believe that the woman is the home, she's the community, she's everything. So she needs to focus on herself, get herself together. Your cup has to be full before you pour into somewhere. I have experienced it - you need to take time out for yourself as well. Even in business, you still need to take time out for yourself. You still need development. Whatever it is you cannot do by yourself, be open to it. It's okay to be still. It's okay to be yourself. It's okay to give out the task and decide that you don't want to do anything, like you want to rest today, you want to be by yourself today.
