Her Interview
Ten minutes with Octavia
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to divine alignment and open doors and opportunities that come without me even having to apply. Nothing is by coincidence. Having doors open up for me, being recognized and noticed. I just have to be alert, obedient, and be present.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I've received is to continue to believe in yourself. When you're doing what you're called to do, it's not going to come easy. Keep striving, keep believing, keep going even when everything in me wants to stop. That gives me the energy and the confidence to keep going.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I would give is to always believe what God said about you and believe what He promised you. Regardless of what I see or don't see, believe in what he said and trust in what he said. Believing and not ever stop believing what he says about you is going to be your go-to.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenging part is attracting the correct clients, maintaining clients, and getting people to believe in themselves and trust what I'm saying. I go on TikTok Live and get viewers but no one moves forward. My goal is to grow and expand internationally.
