Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to an unwavering commitment to continuous learning, a passion for empowering and guiding others, and the discipline to pursue ambitious goals with persistence and focus. At the core of my career is a genuine desire to make a meaningful impact, one that has inspired me to earn multiple certifications, complete two Master’s degrees, and now advance toward a Ph.D. in International Law, expected in March 2026. Each academic and professional milestone has not only deepened my expertise but also broadened my perspective, reinforcing my dedication to excellence, ethical leadership, and lifelong growth.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to never stop investing in yourself and to never let fear dictate your choices. Early in my career, I was reminded that skills, knowledge, and integrity are assets no one can take away from you, and the more you cultivate them, the more doors will open. That advice pushed me to pursue certifications, advanced degrees, and leadership opportunities even when they felt intimidating or outside of my comfort zone. It also taught me that resilience and authenticity are just as important as technical expertise. By staying true to my values, embracing challenges as learning opportunities, and pushing beyond self-doubt, I’ve been able to grow into a career that not only fulfills me professionally but also allows me to make a meaningful impact.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to approach every opportunity as a chance to grow, learn, and prove your value. The journey will not always be easy - there will be challenges, setbacks, and moments of doubt, but resilience and consistency will carry you forward. Stay true to yourself, even when it feels tempting to compromise, because authenticity is your greatest strength. When you pair that authenticity with dedication and discipline, you not only build a successful career, you build one grounded in confidence, credibility, and lasting impact.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the compliance and contracts field today is the rapidly evolving regulatory landscape, particularly as organizations navigate globalization, digital transformation, and heightened enforcement expectations. From data privacy and cybersecurity mandates like GDPR and evolving U.S. federal procurement rules, to anti-corruption standards, the pace of change requires constant vigilance and adaptability. Organizations often struggle to balance agility with accountability, ensuring they can innovate without compromising compliance or ethical standards. At the same time, this challenge represents a tremendous opportunity. Compliance is no longer viewed as a box-checking exercise; it is becoming a strategic driver of trust, transparency, and long-term sustainability. The integration of advanced contract management solutions, AI-driven risk monitoring, and cross-border regulatory harmonization provides leaders with tools to not only mitigate risk but to shape stronger, more resilient organizations.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me most deeply, both in my career and personal life, are growth, curiosity, and balance. I believe in constantly expanding my skills and perspectives, whether through professional endeavors or personal passions such as playing the piano, exploring new languages, reading widely, and traveling. These pursuits not only enrich my life but also cultivate creativity, cultural awareness, and resilience. Together, they shape a well-rounded approach that allows me to bring fresh insight, empathy, and balance into everything I do.
