Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I contribute my success to the strong work ethic instilled in me by my father. Having grown up in American Samoa and coming to the States via US Army, he worked hard for everything he earned. From a young age, he taught me the importance of discipline, resilience, and showing up every day ready to give my best. Those values have shaped how I approach challenges, lead teams, and stay committed to achieving results no matter the circumstances.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received was to focus not just on being right, but on being heard. You can be the person in the room with the right answer, but if you don’t communicate it in a way that resonates, it won’t create the impact you intend. Learning to adapt how I deliver a message so it’s best received has been just as important as having the right solution.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering any corporate role is to never stop fighting. You will face moments that feel unfair, and they will test your strength — but that’s exactly why you have to push through. Nothing changes if we stay silent or settle. So fight for your place, fight for your voice, and when you rise into a position of influence, make sure you use it to break barriers and lift others with you.
