Olivia Tamborini is a Senior Consultant at Deloitte, specializing as an Engagement Financial Advisor. With a strong background in finance and business operations, she has built her career supporting large-scale client engagements through financial management, strategic analysis, and operational guidance. Prior to returning to Deloitte, Olivia gained valuable experience as a Senior Associate in Business Operations at Red Ventures, further broadening her expertise in managing complex business needs.
Olivia is a proud graduate of Bentley University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Finance through the university’s inaugural combined program. While at Bentley, she not only excelled academically but also served as a peer tutor, supporting her classmates in finance and business courses. Her early career included an internship with Bank of America, where she gained firsthand experience in financial advising and client service.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Olivia is passionate about giving back to her community. She has volunteered with organizations such as Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and served as a youth basketball coach, combining her dedication to health, mentorship, and community engagement. The best career advice I’ve ever received is, “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you’re right,” which reminds me that mindset is everything.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to remember that your comfort zone is where your dreams go to die—don’t be afraid to take action despite fear or uncertainty, because failure is often the most valuable part of learning and ultimately finding success.
