About Oluwaseun
I'm currently a third-year PhD candidate at the University of Georgia, where I'm specializing in Chemistry. I completed my bachelor's degree at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where I also specialized in Chemistry. Right now, I'm on a co-op rotation at Johnson & Johnson that runs through August, which started this past February. In my role there, I work in the Cell Engineering Analytical Science group, specifically in analytical automation. What I do is build methods and help with script writing to Pythonize all our workflows and analytical instruments to make them fully automated. I've been in my field for over 5 years now, and I've been able to achieve some reasonable milestones on my current project. We're taking the steps gradually, and it's a progress day in, day out. I'm a member of several professional organizations, including the American Chemical Society (ACS), and I've been elected as a full member of Sigma Xi, a professional society.
